Rampur is produced by Radico Khaitan at Rampur Distillery in Uttar Pradesh.
The distillery was established in 1943 and produces its single malt using traditional copper pot stills. Maturation takes place close to the Himalayan foothills, where hot summers and cooler seasonal conditions help create a whisky known for tropical fruit, vanilla, honey and spice.
Rampur also makes extensive use of wine and fortified-wine casks, giving the range considerable variety.
