Colour

Nose

Lush and velvety, the nose opens with vanilla and creamy oak from the bourbon cask, layered over bold port-wine fruit. Ripe plum, fig and raisin mingle with caramel, cocoa nibs and a touch of almond. Spices—cinnamon and clove—lend warmth, while a faint coffee note threads through the finish, all held in elegant balance.

Palate

Silky and medium-full on the palate, the whisky coats with creamy vanilla and toffee from the bourbon cask, while portpipe influence delivers red-berry jam, fig and raisin depth. Spices rise—cinnamon, clove, a touch of red pepper—alongside burnt caramel and cocoa. Oak and almond underpin a velvety texture, finishing long with fruit sweetness fading to warm spice and subtle cocoa.

Finish

A long, luxurious finish with lingering warmth and spice. The portpipe influence adds a velvety sweetness—fig, plum and hints of blackberry—over a core of bourbon oak. Cocoa, vanilla and toasted wood emerge as the fruit fades, leaving a refined, resinous oak echo and a subtle, lingering warmth.
