Amrut Single Cask #2713 Whisky 4 Year Old · 2009 Vintage
In stock
Who would have thought we would be talking about Indian whisky in the same breath as the big five (Scotland, Ireland, Japan, USA & Canada) in terms of being amongst the best producers of single malt. Because of the heat and humidity in India whisky matures (and loses more to the angels share) much quicker so this 4 year old is more like a 20 year old in terms of maturity of taste.
This is a real chewy, rich, smokey and peppery full bodied malt bottled at a massive 59%ABV.
