A 4 Year Old Single PX Cask whisky from India's Amrut. Initially first matured in American virgin oak casks.followed by further maturation in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Butt. This unique bottling of Amrut Single Malt Whisky offers the whisky connoisseur a rare opportunity to savor a treasure of India. Furthermore it is distilled using un-peated Indian barley and bottled at natural cask strength and natural colour.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-red highlights and a warm mahogany edge, a rich natural colour that echoes Pedro Ximenez maturation.
Nose
Opulent nose of dark prune, fig and raisin, lifted by rich PX sherry sweetness. Plush vanilla and caramel from virgin American oak mingle with dates, cocoa and roasted nuts, while warm spice—cinnamon and clove—frames supple oak with a faint licorice edge.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, this Amrut pours with intense PX-driven sweetness layered over virgin American oak. Rich raisin, fig and date mingle with toffee, vanilla and dark chocolate, unfolding a syrupy mid-palate. Spicy pepper and clove emerge on a warming, high-strength finish, carried by a bold cask-borne bite that lingers with elegant oak tannins.
Finish
Luxuriously long and warming, this finish pours PX-rich sweetness into vanilla-touched oak. Dried fig, plum and raisin unfold before cacao and dark chocolate notes, while spiced warmth lingers with a syrupy bite. It fades to velvet resin and a delicate almond-pepper sparkle that persists gracefully.
