Colour

Nose

Opulent and festive, the nose opens to dark fruit and Marsala sweetness, raisins, figs, and prunes dancing with toffee and treacle. Vanilla and gentle oak give warmth, while cardamom, cinnamon, and clove mingle with saffron and sandalwood. Cocoa nibs and a touch of almond linger as the high ABV lifts the aroma into a poised, lingering finish.

Palate

Opulent, full-bodied sweetness with Marsala-driven fruitcake notes — dark plum, raisin, fig, and candied orange weaving with honeyed toffee and toasted almond. Spices rise in ribbons of ginger, cardamom, and clove, enhanced by a warm, peppery kiss from the 60% ABV. Rich oak lends structure as the finish unfolds into a lengthy, festive glow of dried fruit and spice.

Finish

An opulent, lingering finish of dried fruit and fig-raisin sweetness, tempered by Marsala spice. Rich chocolate, toffee and toasted oak unfold, followed by a warm peppery glow that slowly fades into velvety warmth on the palate.
