Cigars
Cuba remains the most famous cigar-producing country in the world, with historic brands such as Cohiba, Montecristo, Partagás, Romeo y Julieta and Hoyo de Monterrey forming an important part of its cigar heritage. Cuban cigars are particularly associated with tobacco grown in regions such as Vuelta Abajo, where climate and soil help produce leaves valued for their aroma, complexity and ageing potential.
Outside Cuba, Davidoff is one of the best-known names in premium cigars. Founded by Zino Davidoff, the brand is now closely associated with carefully selected Dominican tobacco and refined, consistent construction, with ranges spanning lighter, elegant cigars through to richer and more full-bodied styles. Alongside producers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras, Davidoff has helped establish non-Cuban cigars as an important part of the modern premium cigar market.
