Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery glow and a touch of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Coastal peat and medicinal iodine rise from the glass, wrapped in velvety sherry sweetness. Dried figs and raisins, orange zest, and dark tobacco mingle with almond and toasted oak, while a sea-salt breeze lingers, time-worn and refined.
Palate
Silky and deeply smoky, the palate unfolds with coastal peat, iodine and dark caramel. Sherry-influenced fruit—prune and fig—coats the mouth, while toasted vanilla, cocoa and coffee bean offer depth. A touch of sea salt keeps it brisk, the finish long and smoky with lingering spice and leather.
Finish
A long, maritime finish of peaty smoke and sea spray, lifted by subtle sherry sweetness. Dark chocolate, dried orange peel and baking spice unfold on the palate, while saline notes and refined oak echo, leaving a lingering, elegant warmth that fades to a soft, contemplative end.
