Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep coppery amber with mahogany undertones and a ruby-bronze glow.
Nose
Dense peat smoke coils with maritime brine and iodine, veiled by ash and lacquer. Sherry sweetness unfolds into dark fruit—raisin, fig, black cherry—tinged with cocoa and leather, a hint of espresso. A coastal, age-warmed aura that lingers with smoky sweetness and refined spice.
Palate
Powerful peat with coastal iodine and a saline tang. Sherry-driven prune, raisin, fig and black cherry unfold alongside cocoa, espresso and vanilla. Rich, oily mouthfeel; warming spice and leather emerge as the oak breathes. A long, refined finish of smoke, sea salt and dark fruit lingers, leaving a delicate balance of sweetness and peat.
Finish
Long, coastally peaty finish with ash and maritime brine that lingers, slowly giving way to rich dried fig and cocoa. A whisper of leather and oak spice persists, guided by a velvet warmth and a subtle sherry sweetness, leaving a refined mineral edge that slowly fades but stays with you.
