Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany edges, a warm, sherry-kissed glow that speaks of richness and refinement.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma floods the glass, with dark fruit compote of prune, fig and raisin, threaded with walnut and toffee. Cocoa and espresso notes surface, entwined with vanilla, caramel and baking spices. Hints of cedar oak and a delicate leather nuance lend sophistication to a finish that hints at Christmas pudding and old oak.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, the palate opens with dark dried fruits—raisin, fig and prune—layered with orange zest and milk chocolate. Sherry sweetness wraps spicy notes of cinnamon and clove, tempered by polished oak and a hint of tobacco. A long, warming finish of mocha and espresso lingers, with a soft leather edge.
Finish
Long, warm finish carried by sherry depth: dried fig and raisin mingle with dark chocolate and toasted oak. Cinnamon and clove spice linger, gradually fading to a velvety, orange-zested glow that lingers softly on the palate.
