Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry-led bouquet with dried fig and raisin, burnt orange zest, and plum. Hints of toasted almond, dark chocolate and vanilla cloak the oak. A touch of ginger and leather adds restrained spice and depth, while silky fruit sweetness lingers, evoking a dignified, time-aged Speyside glamour from a rare silent-distillery treasure.
Palate
Silky, medium-full palate with sherried sweetness and depth. Dried fig, raisin and date mingle with cocoa, orange zest, and a touch of vanilla. Subtle spice—nutmeg and clove—adds warmth, framed by polished oak. The finish is long and refined, with leather, toffee, and a lingering spicy glow.
Finish
Long and velvet, the finish bathes the palate in sherried sweetness and refined oak. Dark plum and fig give way to cocoa and toasted almond, with whispers of cinnamon and clove. A warm, lingering smoke and oak echo stretch out, leaving a graceful, contemplative fade.
