Here we have a 40 year old single malt from Glen Grant distillery aged in Refill American Hogshead's with only 105 bottles produced from its 37th cask.

Colour

Bright golden straw with a whisper of amber.

Nose

Citrus zest mingles with tropical pineapple and a whisper of white chocolate. Green apple undertones give way to coconut and fresh herbs, offering a bright, refined aroma.

Palate

Soft pepper frames the palate, with dried banana and a whisper of smoke. Sweet tropical fruit accompanies ripe orange and baked pear, delivering a gentle sweetness that lingers.

Finish

Medium-bodied with a lingering nutty cocoa finish.

Glen Grant
(Glen-GRANT) Glen Grant was founded in Rothes in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant, and from the start it built a reputation around innovation as much as whisky. The Grants were involved in the development of the Morayshire Railway Company, helping improve transport through Speyside, and by 1861 Glen Grant had introduced electric lighting. A defining new chapter began in 1872, when James “The Major” Grant took over and expanded the distillery, introducing tall, slender stills and water-cooling purifiers that remain central to the distillery’s lighter, more elegant style.
