Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose of dark plum and dried fig, lacquered with orange zest and toffee. Rich cocoa, almond and vanilla mingle with warm oak, spices, and a whisper of tobacco, revealing velvety, old-world elegance.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this sherry‑cask Bladnoch coats the palate with dark fruit, fig and raisin, brightened by orange zest and toasted almond. Spices—cinnamon and clove—pair with polished oak and a touch of tobacco, while the 53.6% ABV delivers warmth that lingers with chocolatey, resinous depths.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of sherried sweetness and dried fruit that lingers with velvety finesse. Notes of raisin, fig and cocoa unfold, melting into warm oak spice with a touch of orange zest, leaving a refined, lingering glow that speaks of its 1977 cask origins.
