Alinta Reserve is a limited batch release of only 2000 bottles. Selected annually by Bladnoch's master distiller Dr Nick Savage, from a special reserve of Bladnoch's rare peated cask stocks.

Presenting a nose of smoked apricot jam with woodland trees. A palate of smoky cola cubes with cinnamon and nutmeg, and a very long and warm campfire finish.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Golden amber with coppery highlights and an ember-bright, sherry-tinged glow.

Nose

Smoked apricot jam with woodland notes; a fruity smoke threads through forest resin, hinting at peated cask character.

Palate

Smoky cola cubes entwined with cinnamon and nutmeg, delivering a long, warming campfire finish.

Finish

An exceptionally long, warm campfire finish that lingers with smoky embers, slowly fading into a soft, toasted-spice afterglow.

Bladnoch
(BLAD-nock) Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by brothers John and Thomas McClelland on their farm near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside the River Bladnoch, it is Scotland’s most southerly working distillery and one of the oldest active Lowland single malt producers. The McClelland family developed the site for almost a century, with Bladnoch later known as the “Queen of the Lowlands” as production expanded.
