This twenty eight year old expression from Bladnoch is as intriguing as the name suggests. Don’t be fooled by its initial simplicity; this Whisky has a very unique and multifaceted character. It starts with classic raisin and sherry notes, then more complex aromas akin to a full fruit basket intermingle with rich, cooked fruits and preserves, along with a plethora of spices and woody notes.

(BLAD-nock) Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by brothers John and Thomas McClelland on their farm near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside the River Bladnoch, it is Scotland’s most southerly working distillery and one of the oldest active Lowland single malt producers. The McClelland family developed the site for almost a century, with Bladnoch later known as the “Queen of the Lowlands” as production expanded.
