Colour

Deep amber-gold with coppery shimmer and a whisper of ruby, a warm, wine-kissed glow from Oloroso sherry and red wine cask maturation.

Nose

Fresh blackcurrants mingle with floral grass and a whisper of aged oak, revealing a bright, oak-kissed aroma.

Palate

Toffee coats the palate, unfolding into creamy coffee creme with a subtle kick of root ginger.

Finish

Long, sweet and peppery, the finish lingers with warming ginger-spice and soft toffee notes, with a subtle echo of blackcurrant.

Bladnoch
(BLAD-nock) Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by brothers John and Thomas McClelland on their farm near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside the River Bladnoch, it is Scotland’s most southerly working distillery and one of the oldest active Lowland single malt producers. The McClelland family developed the site for almost a century, with Bladnoch later known as the “Queen of the Lowlands” as production expanded.
