Nose

Aromas of creamy vanilla are followed by sweet lemon and lime zest. fragrant notes of honeysuckle come to the fore, slowly transforming into freshly cut grass. hints of peach develop with nuances of ripe green apple.

Palate

Fresh apricot notes complement ripe pear, whilst sweet floral notes evolve into tart citrus zest. Subtle traces of desiccated coconut emerge, complementing smooth and mouth-coating butterscotch flavours.

Finish

A fresh, medium finish with soft coconut and lingering sweetness.

Bladnoch
(BLAD-nock) Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by brothers John and Thomas McClelland on their farm near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside the River Bladnoch, it is Scotland’s most southerly working distillery and one of the oldest active Lowland single malt producers. The McClelland family developed the site for almost a century, with Bladnoch later known as the “Queen of the Lowlands” as production expanded.
