Colour

Natural in colour, this whisky glows a warm copper-gold with amber highlights.

Nose

Floral, fragrant with polished oak and dates.

Palate

Apricots lead the palate, with subtle liquorice weaving through polished oak. Full, cask-strength fruit sweetness carries a warm, port-influenced depth, finishing slightly dry with a lingering, toasted oak glow.

Finish

Slightly dry, with warming oak that lingers elegantly, leaving a refined, comforting warmth as the wood notes gradually fade.

Bladnoch
(BLAD-nock) Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by brothers John and Thomas McClelland on their farm near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside the River Bladnoch, it is Scotland’s most southerly working distillery and one of the oldest active Lowland single malt producers. The McClelland family developed the site for almost a century, with Bladnoch later known as the “Queen of the Lowlands” as production expanded.
