The 2020 release of Bladnoch's fourteen year old Lowland Single Malt Whisky is aged exclusively in Oloroso Sherry casks. Bladnoch’s Master Distiller, Dr Nick Savage hand selects every cask to bring together this rich expression.
Spicy and rich upfront with raisins and sultanas with a hint of orange peel and chocolate on the nose. More raisins, rich fruit cake with sweet cinnamon and chocolate envelop the palate. The finish is rich and long with a slight dryness.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery, mahogany-tinged warmth and a sunlit reddish-gold glow, reflective of sherry-cask maturation.
Nose
Rich Oloroso sherry on the nose, with ripe raisins and sultanas at the forefront, bright orange peel, and threads of dark chocolate and a whisper of cinnamon.
Palate
Raisins and sultanas drive the palate, evolving into a dense fruitcake core layered with sweet cinnamon and dark chocolate. A velvety spice coats the tongue, giving a lush, lingering finish with a touch of dryness.
Finish
A rich, long finish that lingers with sherry-soaked fruit, cocoa and spice, slowly fading to a refined, slight dryness.
