Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper highlights and mahogany edges, a warm, sherry-tinted glow.
Nose
Delicate Speyside perfume of orchard fruit and citrus, with ripe pear and green apple dancing on the nose. Subtle malt, vanilla cream, and a whisper of honeyed oak lend a silky sweetness, inviting and refined.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, this Coleburn 1972 unfolds with dried fruit, fig and date, layered by orange zest and a whisper of cocoa. Sherry-softened oak, almond, and spice—nutmeg and clove—coax a creamy vanilla thread through the palate. A gentle sweetness and persistent, warm finish linger with elegant refinement.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with sherry-driven sweetness, dark fruit, cocoa and spice. Toasted oak whispers as a gentle warmth lingers, leaving a refined, lingering echo on the palate.
