Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery highlights, a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Marine peat smoke drifts with sea spray and briny iodine, a mineral saltiness crisp as a sea breeze. Subtle citrus zest and honeyed malt soften the edge, while peppery spice threads through, like a brisk wind off a dark coastline.
Palate
Peated and maritime on the palate, with salty sea-breeze and a peppery snap. Honeyed barley, vanilla and citrus mingle beneath a whisper of smoke, while a toasty oak backbone lends depth, finishing brisk, saline and long.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with smoky peat, briny sea spray and cracked pepper lingering on the palate, slowly giving way to dry oak and a mineral, coastal echo.
