Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with rich chestnut undertones and copper-gold edges, a glossy mahogany sheen that glows in the glass and promises aged elegance.
Nose
Briny sea spray and coastal air give way to a rich sherried depth. Dried figs, dates and prunes fuse with toasted oak and dark chocolate, while Talisker’s signature smoke threads through the aroma. A hint of orange zest adds lift, finishing in a maritime, ember-soft glow that lingers on the senses.
Palate
Full-bodied and maritime, the palate opens with salt spray and ember smoke, then unfolds dried fig, raisin and plum bathed in sherry. Peppery spice mingles with dark chocolate and toffee, while oak lends ballast. A long, coastal finish lingers with peat and brine.
Finish
Long maritime finish with sea-salt tang and embered smoke, woven with dried fruits from the sherry cask. Peppery warmth broadens into rich oak, tapering to a velvety, resinous afterglow that lingers with coastal intensity.
