Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper highlights and a warm honey-gold glow.
Nose
Sea-kissed peat sits alongside refined sherry richness on the nose: maritime brine and iodine mingle with dark fruit—fig and raisin—spiced with ginger and clove, complemented by tobacco and toasted oak. A velvet sweetness hints at cocoa and leather, revealing the 24-year maturation as the smoke recedes into elegant, measured depth.
Palate
On the palate, polished coastal peat and sea-salt smoke weave with sweet malt. Dried fig and raisin fuse with dark chocolate, orange zest, and toasted oak, unveiling depth and refinement. A peppery spine and maritime minerals carry to a long, elegant finish.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with resonant peat smoke and sea-salt brine. A peppery warmth builds, then dries to mineral coastal notes, leaving a refined sweetness and a lingering, ember-soft afterglow.
