Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a subtle mahogany undertone.
Nose
Opulent peat smoke entwined with rich sherry sweetness. Dark fig and raisin, cocoa and toffee rise, with hints of orange zest and almond paste. A whisper of iodine and sea-salt drifts through polished oak and warm spice, delivering a luxurious, layered Islay aroma that promises depth and refinement.
Palate
Peated, charcoal smoke layers over rich sherried sweetness, with waves of salted caramel, fig and raisin mingling with tar and mineral peat. Cocoa and espresso deepen the mouthfeel, while a velvety, full-bodied warmth coats the tongue. The finish is long and refined, perfumed with smoke, spice and dried fruit.
Finish
Long, peat-smoked finish that lingers with velvet sherry sweetness. Dried fig and raisin unfold against cocoa and dark chocolate, with a whisper of spice and sea salt threading through, leaving a warm, lasting glow.
