Nose
A poised, floral bouquet opens to white peach and pear, with orange zest and almond. Subtle sherry notes cradle cocoa nibs and warm spice, while vanilla and polished oak lend quiet depth. A hint of maritime breeze completes the elegant, restrained Speyside nose.
Palate
Silky, light- to medium-bodied palate with a refined sherried sweetness. Dried orange zest, fig and apricot mingle with almond paste and creamy vanilla, with hints of dark chocolate. Gentle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—rises over polished oak, delivering a long, elegant finish that lingers with fruit, spice and a touch of tobacco.
Finish
Silky and enduring, the finish settles on rich dried fruit—fig and cherry—with subtle almond. A glow of spice (cinnamon, clove) threads through velvet oak, then slowly fades to a warm, chocolate-tinged sweetness that lingers, leaving a refined, contemplative impression.
