Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark amber with coppery highlights and a burnished gold glow.
Nose
Sherry-soaked and refined, this nose presents dried fig and raisin, orange zest and toasted almond, with caramel and toffee sweetness. Cocoa, leather and polished oak emerge in the background, weaving a refined, antique-wood spice that lingers in the glass.
Palate
Glencraig (silent) opens with silken, honeyed malt and luscious dried fruits—raisin and fig—supported by toasted almond and subtle spice. Sherry-soaked notes deepen with orange zest and cocoa nib, leading to a long, refined finish that glows with warmth and quiet elegance.
Finish
Elegant, lingering finish with refined warmth. Dried fruit and orange zest unfold into cocoa and honeyed toffee, while soft spice lingers on the palate. A delicate sherried sweetness threads through, fading slowly to a resinous kiss of oak.
