Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery glints and a touch of mahogany at the rim, a warm, sherried glow.
Nose
Opulent sherried nose with dark fruit density: fig, raisin and plum mingle with orange zest and a swirl of toffee. Spices rise—clove, cinnamon—over vanilla and polished oak. Nutty almond and walnut notes emerge with a whisper of tobacco, lending a refined, timeless elegance.
Palate
Silky and refined on the palate, this 21-year-old whisky offers sherry-kissed sweetness with dried plum, fig and toffee, woven with cocoa nibs and gentle spice. Velvet oak lends structure, while almond, coffee and a warm, lingering finish showcase a mature, elegant Speyside character.
Finish
Silky, lingering finish of almond and dried apricot draped in soft sherry spice; velvety oak wraps the tongue, with a whisper of orange zest and dark chocolate that slowly fades to refined, warm sweetness.
