Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a coppery glow and rich mahogany undertones.
Nose
Sherry-draped aroma of dark figs, raisins and prunes, with orange zest and mulled spice. Silky toffee and ripe oak mingle with almond paste and cocoa, while a subtle whisper of leather and tobacco adds gravitas. An elegant, old‑world nose that speaks of age, cask depth, and refined sweetness.
Palate
Silken and refined, the palate reveals dried fig and plum, dark chocolate and toffee, with vanilla and almond and a whisper of ginger. An understated oak backbone underpins gentle spice, carrying a long, poised finish with a citrus lift.
Finish
Silky, extended finish of dried dark fruits—plum and fig—woven with cacao, almond and subtle sherry spice, fading into warm, oak-kissed echoes.
