This exceptional, rare single malt from the Banff distillery was matured in a single oak cask for 50 years. The Banff distillery ceased production and closed its doors in 1983. Whisky from this silent distillery is becoming increasingly rare and sought after.
A sweet and fruity single malt whisky with flavours and aromas of pear drop, charred oak, smoke, sweet spices and caramelised fruits. The finish is long and satisfying with sherry notes and lingering oak spice.
