The silent stills range has until fairly recently not been on collectors radars but this has just recently started to change as people have appreaciated the rarity of some of the bottlings such as this Banff from 1966. Each of the satin lined box sets include a miniature and a piece of the orignal cask wood.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden-amber with a honeyed, sun-warmed glow and subtle coppery mahogany undertones.
Nose
Polished oak opens to a tapestry of dried fruits—raisins, fig and apricot—woven with toffee, cocoa and dark chocolate. Vanilla, ginger and cinnamon spark the palate, while leather and tobacco add old-world depth, under a delicate sherry lift that hints at time-worn refinement.
Palate
Silky and poised, the palate unfolds with dark fig and prune, bathed in rich sherry, with cocoa nibs and toasted almond. Bold spice: cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove meet refined oak, while a whisper of leather adds depth. Full-bodied and satin-smooth, it coats the tongue and lingers with orange zest, dates and warm spice on the finish.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish that glides across the palate on velvet sherry sweetness. Dried fruit—prune and raisin—melds with orange zest, toasted almond and dark chocolate, while elegant spice and refined oak linger, warming to a polished, lasting finale.
