Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold shimmer and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Delicate and inviting, the nose opens with bright citrus zest and ripe pear, riding a cushion of mellow malt. Subtle vanilla and almond mingle with soft oak spice, while a quiet sherried sweetness hints at richness—dried fruit and a whisper of nutmeg.
Palate
Silky and refined, the palate opens with dried apricot, fig and orange zest, balanced by a gentle sherried sweetness. Nutty almond, cocoa and subtle spice drift across the tongue, guided by toasted oak. A delicate oxidative nuance adds depth, finishing with sun-dried fruit, toffee and a softly drying touch of leather.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish drapes dried fruits and cocoa in a gentle sherried sweetness. Nutty almond and soft oak spice linger, carried by a whisper of maritime air, fading to a warm, elegant velvet.
