Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen, edged in warm mahogany and a ruby-garnet rim.
Nose
Aromas of aged sherry richness with dark fruit compote—prune, fig and raisin—layered with orange zest, burnt sugar and walnut notes. Subtle spices (cinnamon, clove) mingle with polished oak, hints of cocoa and a whisper of leather. Complex, inviting, with refined, velvety sweetness.
Palate
Silky and elegant, the palate offers restrained sherry richness with dried fig, raisin and orange zest weaving through walnut, almond and ripe plum sweetness. Gentle spice—cinnamon and clove—echoes in fine oak, while a whisper of cocoa and marzipan lingers, leaving a warm, refined finish.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish pours an initial glow of honeyed citrus and orchard fruit, then unfolds into warm oak. Sherry influence lingers, with dried fruit, almond, and a gentle spice, slowly fading to a noble, nutty refrain.
