Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey hues.
Nose
Intense peat smoke dominates, fused with iodine and sea-salt, a maritime backbone of medicinal notes. Toasted barley, vanilla sweetness and a citrus lift weave through the smoky core, evoking Islay's rugged coast.
Palate
Intense peat smoke blooms from the glass, braided with iodised brine and sea-salt tang. Sweet citrus zest, vanilla and subtle toasted almond melt into a bold, smoky backbone, while dark chocolate and charred oak add depth. A peppery, lingering finish clings to the tongue, leaving a briny, refined warmth.
Finish
An enduring finish of peat and smoke, with briny sea air and iodine at the core. Minerally, tarry and slightly medicinal, it slowly softens to a whisper of vanilla and oak, allowing the peat to linger long after the last sip.
