Ardbeg Eureka! was released to celebrate 25 years of the Ardbeg Committee. A skilful marriage of PX sherry casks combined with roasted malt spirit matured in bourbon casks and offered at 52.2% alcohol strength. Anticipate juicy red apples and plump cherries on the nose, with signature smoke and fresh coffee granules. The palate explodes with nut toffee brittle, raisin fudge and dark fruits, running to a long and chewy finish with sweet treacle toffee and burning embers.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery-rose highlights and a rich mahogany core that glows in the glass.
Nose
Full and fruity on the nose, with cherry and juicy red apple at center. Caramel-infused coffee grounds and cocoa powder are softened by a restrained smoke, hints of heather bonfire and hand-rolled sweet tobacco. Subtle cedar and fennel drift in the background. With a splash of water, dark chocolate and walnut oil emerge, and the smoke deepens alongside the sweeter fruits—a tarred road aroma that lingers.
Palate
An explosion of sweet flavours—nut toffee brittle, raisin fudge and dark fruits (fig, damson, plump cherries)—balanced by a rockpool of saline. Dark chocolate-coated raisins meet chicory and cinnamon, with a drying undertone. Smoke builds to a crescendo of applewood, iodine, burnt moss and ash, leaving a long, chewy finish.
Finish
Long and chewy, the finish delivers sweet treacle toffee, aniseed spice, coal tar soap and burning embers.
