Inspired by Dunnage Warehouse 3's definitely real and not at all made up FLAVOUR BREATHING DRAGON, Ardbeg Scorch Single Malt Whisky has been matured in heavily charred, American-oak, ex-bourbon casks.
On the nose, it's intense with heavy notes of nuts, spice with hints of aniseed and patchouli. alongside classic Ardbeg fennel and pine top notes - oh, and smoke of course!
There's an oily and spicy mouthfeel with liquorice, clove, pepper and a burst of antiseptic lozenges then followed by sweet smoky sandalwood
The finish is long and strong with soot and tar after tones.

Nose
Intense on the nose, with bold notes of toasted nuts and warming spice, lifted by hints of aniseed and patchouli. Classic Ardbeg fennel and pine drift through a smoky core, supported by an oily, resinous sheen that hints at the peat-forward punch to follow.
