Part of a series celebrating historic golf courses, it showcases Bruichladdich’s unpeated house style, where coastal freshness and bright malt character are complemented by the red wine cask influence, adding layers of fruit and gentle spice.
Royal Liverpool, founded in 1869, is one of England’s most prestigious championship links courses and a regular host of The Open, known for its traditional seaside layout and testing conditions.

Silky, medium-bodied with Bruichladdich’s unpeated coastal brightness, the palate opens to red-fruit richness from the claret cask—plum, blackberry and red currant—layered over smooth malt. Subtle vanilla and gentle spice weave through, delivering refined sweetness and a touch of oak. The finish is long and balanced, with a lightly tannic wine-warmth and a whisper of sea air.
