Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a copper-gold sheen and subtle ruby-bronze edges, a warm, wine-kissed colour that hints at Bordeaux cask maturation.
Nose
Opulent nose of ripe blackberry and black cherry, entwined with cassis and a red-wine glow from the Bordeaux cask. Vanilla, mocha and polished oak weave through velvet fruit, with hints of cedar and tobacco. A saline Islay breeze and subtle mineral grip underline the wine-finished richness, hinting at structure, spice, and the single-cask provenance.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied with wine-kissed fruit. Dark cherries, blackcurrants and plum weave with Bordeaux sweetness, edged by vanilla, cocoa and orange zest. Firm tannins give structure, a warm peppery bite, and a velvety mouthfeel that lingers into a long finish of oak, cedar and dark chocolate.
Finish
Luxuriously lingering, the finish carries dark berry depth—blackcurrant and plum—woven with Bordeaux-touched tannins and integrated oak. A salt-kissed coastal breeze threads through before a lasting echo of cocoa, vanilla, and toasted barrel, leaving a warm, refined residue that invites the next sip.
