Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery undertones and a mahogany-red edge, radiating a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Intense peat smoke rises on the nose, imbued with iodine and sea-salted brine. A sherry-soft sweetness lends dark fruit and cocoa beneath ember-glow, while leather, ash and medicinal notes linger like a coastal bonfire at dusk.
Palate
Full-bodied and smoky, the palate carries bold peat and medicinal iodine tempered by sherry sweetness. Dried fig, dark chocolate and espresso mingle with sea-salt minerals, while toasted oak and nutmeg lift the spice. A long, briny finish lingers with ember-coated smoke.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with maritime iodine and sea-salt brine, unfolding into sherry-driven fruit and cocoa, then a dry, peppery, mineral warmth that lingers.
