Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with burnished copper-gold highlights and a subtle mahogany edge, radiating a warm, sherry-kissed glow.
Nose
Aromas of polished malt mingle with orchard fruit—ripe pear and golden apple—kissed by honey and vanilla. Subtle dried-fruit richness hints at sherry cask, with toasted almond, raisin and a whisper of fig. Spices—cinnamon and nutmeg—thread through soft oak, while delicate florals lend elegance and lift.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with a sherry-touched warmth. Plush dark fruit—fig, raisin, plum—unfolds with orange zest, honey and almond on a creamy backbone. Vanilla mingles with cocoa and gentle spice as toasted oak emerges. The finish is long and nutty, softly warming, perfectly balanced between sweetness and oak.
Finish
Long and velvety, this dram begins with warm malt and vanilla, then unfolds into dried fruit, toffee and sherry-soaked sweetness. Toasted oak and a whisper of spice linger, leaving a refined, lingering warmth.
