Bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd, this 1995 Glen Elgin comes from single cask #3193 and was bottled in 2019 at 23 years old. Matured in oak and bottled at 52.8% ABV, it offers a more cask-led, mature take on the distillery’s naturally fruity Speyside style.
Glen Elgin is often appreciated for its orchard fruit and honeyed character, and that longer maturation gives those qualities a little more depth and polish here. The oak adds structure and spice without overwhelming the spirit, making this a nicely balanced older Speyside whisky with fruit, sweetness and gentle wood influence all working together.
