Glen Elgin 2017 Special Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky 18 Year Old · 1998 Vintage
In stock
A third release of Glen Elgin for the Annual Diageo special releases series of 2017
Aged for 18 years in Ex-Bodega and refill European oak butts and made from two batches of malt using two different yeast strains.
Only 5352 bottles released and bottled at natural cask strength of 54.8% ABV.
A fresh, yet voluptous aroma and layers of fruit make this an enticing dram, with well balanced oak providing just enough spice.
A distinguished example of a top class rated malt with a highly sophisticated, classic Speyside taste from a distillery that deserves to be better known.
