Tasting Notes

Nose

Candied orange peel and wafer biscuits rise on the nose, complemented by bright tropical fruit notes that promise sun-warmed sweetness and a touch of exotic richness.

Palate

More tropical notes feature with banana and coconut alongside floral notes, chocolate, vanilla and raspberry jam.

Finish

Raisins, shortbread and more herbaceous and floral tones.

Glen Elgin
(Glen-EL-gin) Glen Elgin is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery near Elgin in Moray, founded in 1898 by William Simpson, formerly manager at Glenfarclas, and James Carle. Production began in 1900, but the timing was difficult, as the Scotch whisky market was hit by the Pattison crash, and the distillery closed after only a few months. It later restarted under J.J. Blanche & Co before becoming part of Scottish Malt Distillers in 1930.
