Nose

Fruity, yellow fruits with pear and green apple; a bright, orchard-forward aroma that carries crisp freshness and a touch of sweetness.

Palate

Silky and refined, the palate presents woody vanilla threaded with sweet spices, punctuated by dried apricots. A gentle oak carries the sweetness into a long, elegant finish.

Finish

Persistent chocolate and hazelnut notes linger, weaving a velvety finish with gentle warmth and a whisper of spice.

Togouchi
Togouchi is the whisky name used by Sakurao Brewery and Distillery in Hiroshima. The company has made alcoholic drinks in Sakurao since 1918, established Sakurao Distillery in 2017, and released single malt Togouchi in 2021. The name comes from Togouchi, the mountain area now part of Akiota, where casks are matured in cellars and tunnel storage at the foot of Mount Osorakan rather than at the distillery itself.
