Nose

Rich chocolate, liqueur orange, aromatic spices, salted mocha, caramel toffee, cherry jam on toast, honeycomb, sherry soaked raisin, sherry oak.

Palate

Rich and spicy delivery with chocolate honeycomb, mocha, french toast, sherry soaked spongecake, honey roasted nuts, salted toffee, black cherry.

Finish

Sweet and spicy with cherry, chocolate, mocha and toasted aromatic spices, orange truffles, salted honeycomb.

Nikka Taketsuru
(NIK-ah tah-ket-SOO-roo) Nikka Taketsuru takes its name from Masataka Taketsuru, the Hiroshima-born son of a sake-brewing family who travelled to Scotland in 1918 to study whisky-making. He founded Dai Nippon Kaju, the predecessor of Nikka Whisky, in 1934 and completed Yoichi Distillery in Hokkaido later that year, followed by Miyagikyo Distillery in 1969.
