Crafted at Japan's Shizuoka distillery, established in 2016, this single malt whisky is made from 100% imported barley malt, with 70% of the grain peated for added complexity. Distilled using a traditional wood-fired pot still, it is then aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks.

The whisky presents a rustic bouquet of anise, juniper, delicate florals, and garden herbs. On the palate, smoky notes blend seamlessly with flavors of ripe peaches and a subtle touch of salted licorice.

Shizuoka
Shizuoka Distillery was founded by Taiko Nakamura and began producing whisky in 2016 under the Gaiaflow company. Located in the mountainous Oku-Shizu area of Shizuoka Prefecture, the Japanese whisky distillery uses underground water flowing from the Southern Alps and incorporates local materials into production. Its fermentation vessels include washbacks made from Japanese cedar, while both imported and Japanese-grown barley are used across its single malt releases.
