This special release is to celebrate Starward's 15th Anniversary. Meaning life in Latin, Vitalis is a celebration of Starward and their vast achievements so far. Vitalis is truly unlike any other Starward Whisky - Parcels from Tawny barrels, Rum barrels, Bourbon barrels and Apera barrels were all specifically chosen, then carefully blended together to create a complex yet perfectly balanced, fruit forward Single Malt.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany-tinged edge, a warm, sunset bronze glow hinting at Tawny, Rum and sherry cask influence.
Nose
Chewy toffee, raisins, chocolate coated pineapples and cedar.
Palate
Big and viscous, it coats the palate with rich dried fruits, red currant and lightly roasted coffee beans, tempered by bright tropical notes and the distinctly old-school Starward spirit.
Finish
Long and oily, with a delicate balance of fruit and oak. The elevated ABV adds palate weight and a velvety, textured finish that lingers warmly.
