Now in its sixth release, this delicious Single Malt Whisky is more expressive than ever, and the Starward teams most experimental to date.
The ginger beer recipe is a closely guarded secret by the distillery production team - but includes huge amounts of ginger, lemongrass and citrus peel. The ginger beer was brewed in-house and aged in ex-Starward Whisky barrels for 6 months before being disgorged. The red wine and Apera casks were blended together before being finished in the ginger beer casks for a further 6 months and bottled.

Colour
Deep amber-gold with copper-bronze undertones, a warm, sunlit hue that glows in the glass.
Nose
Warm, immediate ginger dominates the nose, with bright orange citrus and a subtle dark chocolate undercurrent. The aroma is lively and luxurious, hinting at spice and sweetness to come.
Palate
Ginger leads with bold spice, complemented by bright vanilla and pineapple on the mid-palate, while sweet raisin and fig provide balanced, rounded sweetness that lingers.
Finish
A bold, warming finish that lingers with candied ginger and citrus, wrapping the palate in radiant warmth and a bright citrus glow.
