Starward have used a combination of malted barley and aromatic Australian wheat, matured in lightly charred or steamed barrels sourced from Australian wineries that make great Shiraz, Cabernet and Pinot Noir. A smooth as silk grain whisky with flavours and aromas of spiced vanilla, tropical fruits and cereal characters rounded with red apples and berries.

Easy-drinking when neat or on ice.

Silky, grain-forward palate with a creamy texture and gentle warmth. Spiced vanilla intertwines with tropical fruits, while cereal notes provide subtle sweetness and a touch of red apples and berries. Lightly charred oak adds a soft spice, leaving a clean, easy-drinking finish.

Finish

Silky and long, the finish unfolds with spiced vanilla and tropical fruit, followed by cereals and red apples and berries that linger gracefully. A gentle oak warmth tightens the tail, leaving a clean, approachable fade.

Starward
Starward was founded in Melbourne in 2007 by David Vitale, with the aim of creating a distinctly Australian whisky shaped by the city’s food, wine and brewing culture. Produced at the Starward Distillery in Port Melbourne, its whiskies use Australian grains and ingredients sourced largely from within a day’s drive. Malted barley is fermented with brewers’ yeast to develop a bright, fruit-forward spirit, while the city’s frequently changing temperatures increase the whisky’s interaction with the oak during maturation.
