Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a honeyed glow.
Nose
Rich sherry-kissed aroma with baked apples and caramelised toffee leading to dark fruit cake. Chocolate-orange notes unfold, while prunes and raisins mingle with toasted oak. A glossy sweetness and subtle spice hint at the cask’s depth, inviting the palate.
Palate
Full-bodied and fruity on the palate, with baked apple sweetness, candied cinder-toffee and a chocolate-orange lift. Ripe fruit cake notes deepen the mid-palate, while the sherry influence adds warm, velvety richness and a lingering, dessert-like finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish with orchard sweetness and toffee lingering into a final whisper of chocolate orange. The Sherry-cask influence leaves a fruit cake richness, cocoa nibs and subtle orange zest, drifting away with a warming spice.
