Wire Works Calvados Arrivée is a dual maturation of White Peak Distillery’s lightly peated spirit, initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in first-fill Calvados casks for three years. Calvados is an apple cider brandy specifically produced in northern France. These particular casks held Calvados for a whole decade.
A sweet, fruity and elegant single malt whisky, bursting with fresh apple notes, presenting White Peak’s trademark rich mouthfeel and a gentle lingering wisp of smoke. Did someone say summertime highballs?

Green apples lead the aroma, brightened by vanilla extract with a whisper of rhubarb and custard. Fresh-cut grass and fruit-salad sweetness frame ripe raspberries and watermelon, while a playful note of dolly mixture hints at candy-coated charm.
Palate
Silky and indulgent, the palate layers white chocolate with baked apple pie and cinder toffee, counterpointed by green grapes and digestive biscuits. Honeydew melon adds lift, while cinnamon buns and icing sugar leave a soft, dessert-rich sweetness that lingers.
Finish
Delicate smoke threads through baking spices, while airy meringue and a whisper of sweetness settle, ending on a warm apple crumble echo that lingers softly.
