Nose

Spicy notes of malted grains, oak, vanilla and overipe apples.

Palate

Rich notes of chocolate and coffee initially. Followed by malt, honey, oak and some stewed apple with cinnamon spice.

Adnams was founded in 1872 by brothers George and Ernest Adnams in Southwold, Suffolk, where brewing on the same site can be traced back as far as 1396. The Sole Bay Brewery remains closely tied to the town, with Adnams developing from a regional brewer into a wider drinks business known for beers such as Southwold Bitter, Broadside and Ghost Ship.
